AS A PEOPLE WE SEEK REVIVAL, RENEWAL, AWAKENING, AND HEALING.

We believe God calls us as his church to humble ourselves, seek His face, and turn from our sin. 2 Chronicles 7:14 says that when we do that, God will hear our prayers from heaven, forgive our sin, and heal our land. Our world, nation, and city need the healing presence of God to rush in like a tidal wave of God’s love to redeem, restore, and renew all that’s broken. Revival is one of the words we use in the church to describe a powerful move of God’s Spirit that radically saves and transforms thousands of people and returns a city and culture back to Jesus as Lord. (We also use words like renewal and awakening). In order to seek revival we must contend as His people, humbly, faithfully, passionately, and restlessly.

We seek revival and contend by the way we pray, prioritize, and seek personal renewal and revival in our own lives. Additionally we contend as a church — we’ve created a few corporate ways to encourage consistent opportunities to contend together.
